Mamma Mia!

I just came back home from the cinema and OMG but I loved Mamma Mia. I don't remember when the last time was that I laughed so hard in the cinema. And sang that loud. LOL. Awesome. I need the DVD. I already told my Dad I want it for Christmas. :D

A very very happy birtdhay to [personal profile] pasadora! Get better soon. *huggles*

I went for coffee with a fellow intern today and we talked about movies and Mamma Mia and I said, that I want to see it because of Amanda, phrasing it "an Actress of one of my favourite shows". And the girl wanted to know which show, and when I told her Veronica Mars, she knew the show! YAY. She thought Amanda was KB so I told her no, the main blond girl is now in Heroes and she finished simoultanesly with me "FSM". YAY. Someone who knows VM, KB and even knows it's KB in Heroes and FSM! We then talked about how stupidly photoshopped the FSM poster is, because KB looks uglier than she is and you can barely tell it's her. My fangirl heart was squeeing. Plus she hadn't even seen FSM and still knew it was KB. :D

Yesterday, after I walked my feet off sightseeing, we went to the theater and saw the Dark Knight. It was great for a Batman movie. Heath was awesome in it. But in parts it was a bit shallow. And it could have been better if the other actors had tried a bit more IMO. Plus I was ridiculously scared most of the time the Joker was on. I was ducking and had goosebumps. I don't remember that happening ever before. Today I'm staying home after I worked an hour later than I should have, because nobody wanted to go for drinks and I didn't want to go sightseeing again, since it's cold and the only thing I still want to see are the Speaker's Corner and the Ripper museum thingy.

If there are one or more people on your friends list who make your world a better place just because they exist, and who you would not have met (in real life or not) without the Internet, then post this same sentence in your journal.

If you're a Kristen Bell fan, you must know she is involved with multiple charities. And not for show - she's really involved. Together with Ryan Hansen and Jason Dohring she tried to raise awareness for the work Invisible Children does, by telling us about it after the episode of Veronica Mars that featured the movement. We would love to help her (and so many others) get some attention for this cause.

So we join forces as fans and try to raise money for IC. We would really love for it to be a substantial amount that we can donate come June 13th (just before the convention she will be attending in London, where we will present her with a donation receipt).

To achieve that, we could really use everybody's help!

The how, the what and the why )
- You can send money to the Paypal account we have created for this project. To donate, you must set up a Paypal account, and send your donation to All payments through Paypal are 100% secure, and your bank details are not seen by anyone.
- Or: You can pledge an amount to our email address and we’ll send you a bill (via Paypal) with a bank number for that amount. You transfer that money to that bank number and that’s it! No Paypal account needed.
- Or: You can also send a check directly to Invisible Children via snail mail. Please attach a note saying its from the Kristen Bell fan project. That way they know it’s from us and we can also track the amount of money we donated in total. Here’s the address: Invisible Children, 2705 Via Orange Way, Suite B, Spring Valley, CA 91978, USA. Please make the check out in USA currency.

June 13th. We would like to present Kristen with a receipt of the donation during Breakout Beyond convention in London, June 13-15.

Why Invisible Children?
Invisible Children is a large international movement, which fits the international character of the fanbase. Moreover, Invisible Children is an organisation that really moves people. Giving children a way to get educated instead of kidnapped to join a child army - that is simply fantastic.

This is what Invisible Children says about our idea:
“I wanted to follow-up on this exciting idea! Kristen is a wonderful supporter of ours,
and I'm so glad she has inspired others to make a difference.
If you have any questions about Invisible Children or how to get the
donation to us, please don't hesitate to email.
Thanks so much!

Director, Communications
Invisible Children, Inc.”

If you have any questions, you can email us at

Thank you so much everyone!

This week seems like it will be stressful. I should be doing loads of stuff right now and not hanging around the internet. Plus it's my birthday today, but I've never been this unexcited. People congratulate me and I'm just like *shrugs* ..whatever. I feel kind of bad about it, but I don't know. I'm slowly easing into the birthday feel but it's taking so long, the day will be done before I get even close to being squee-ing. Meh. This is exactly why I didn't want a party when my BFF asked me about it, but now I think that I should have just had one and it might have cheered me up. Don't know.

Even my boyfriend being totally sweet and calling even though it's early over there and sending me cake over facebook and hugs and stuff even though his internet isn't working so he had to go the lab super early didn't help much. Makes me feel guilty. It did help but just not a lot.

The sign-ups for the Jason Dohring gift project for Breakout Beyond (convention in London) closed over a week ago. I'm sorry for taking so long to get everyone the details they need. I just bought the scrapbook and now we're all set to go!

Onto the details....
motylik: (seriously?)
So since I have nothing much to do these days (my mum's words, not mine) I should not be mass posting on FF, but cleaning my room.

I started three weeks ago. :D Yes, I'm that efficient. Anyway, today I finally dragged myself to work again. (You can't think about things if you're working.)

And I found passports. That I made as a kid. Two of them. Complete with all the details and a drawn picture of myself, one of them is even in three languages (Slovak, French and Russian (It's even in cyrillic!)). The kicker though, both of them have official customs stamps in there. :D Apparently I was irresistible as a kid and all of the customs officers fell for my cute pout because they seriously treated my passport like an official one. One of them even has kids written in there (probably some of my toys), with names and birthdates. I just laughed for five minutes straight with my mum. If you could see the passports you'd know why. Hilarious. The pictures of myself are the most hilarious part. :D

On another note, I booked my flights for Breakout Beyond! Yay. The hotel is booked too so the only thing I need to check is the tube tickets. Other than that I'm set. :D

Sooo one interviewer said we could send him questions and he would ask KB some of them and tell her who asked them and such and turns out he picked only my question!
Here is the article and the video interview.

She says my name! Whooohooo!

Now I need to go and work on applications. *pouts* I'm lazy.

I just noticed that I haven't updated with anything substantial in a while. So here it comes. :D

motylik: (ZQKB emmys)

Sign-ups for the KB fanbook are now closed! For those of you taking part, here is some info on how you can submit your contributions to us.

( info & contact details )

Charity Donations

Seperate from the book, we are also going to be making a donation to a charity that Kristen supports, which we will then inform her of at the convention. We would really love any and all contributions from you guys, whether you're participating in the book or not! The bigger the donation we can make, the better.

Sooo I found this experiment and it's awesome. You guys have to participate. Heh. :D

(1) Currently there is a 'scientific' research on the Sexness of Jensen.
(2) This investigation is, however, still on-going. We need your input!
(3) Follow this link and help us out! []
(Also, kindly leave the comments in that research post, not here.)

Last year, there was this great gift project for Jason at Breakout in London, which he liked very much.
This year, we'll do it again for Breakout Beyond!

For the people who hadn't had a chance to contribute last year. Or just want to write him again, make him something else or give him another gift. Because why wouldn't you, right? Jason is the nicest and most humble person, who made us love characters we weren't originally supposed to love. That says something about his skills! Most of the planning and updates on the project will be in the thread over at Fan Forum.

If you're not on Fan Forum, read more about the project and sign up HERE at the Breakout Beyond LJ community.

So we have a small lake on campus and a huge amount of ducks live there. The lake is on the north side of campus so I rarely used to see any ducks unless I went for a walk or to the library, but there is now this couple that started liking the south courts. It was after one of the big storms when there was litter everywhere that they strolled through the South Courts and ate everything that was still edible. They were the cutest. The male one is so protective of his female. She doesn't care and just eats no matter what. He stops if you come too close and keeps close to the female to defend her.

Anyway, ever since then, every time we have nice weather those two are out and about the South Courts. Seriously they stroll on the grass or the paths and just look around. I need to take my camera to one of the lectures so I can film them. :D They are really adorable. Fell like flatmates (I see them more often than some of my flatmates LOL).

Meme posts tomorrow, hopefully. :)

I am dead

I am dead. Those challenge posts will have to wait because I'm so sick that I feel like I'm dead. I went from one sickness right into another, and it sucks! It's my last two weeks here, and right now Christian has to study anyway so we wouldn't be doing much, but instead of concentrating on Uni he's running over here and making sure I eat and drink and what not. *sighs* We wanted to go into town on Saturday and do stuff, but that's not happening now. And I should work on my vaccation work applications, and other stuff. Gah. It's just a cold (just, hah, I can barely breathe, or think, or sleep) but nothing live threatening.

I'm going to go and crawl back to bed. And maybe eat soup later on.

I finally got around to start watching Moonlight since I handed in my last essay today! YAY!

Anyway, five seconds into it and I'm bored. Five seconds into JD's scene and I'm so far away from bored it's not even the same galaxy. And now I'm imagining Logan as a vampire. *grins* Although so far I like Josef more than Logan. Don't know why.

Now I'm going to go back to watching. :D
