motylikHeh. I went out with friends from High School yesterday, and man I forgot how much fun we have. *giggles* We do this way too seldomly.
We went to a restaurant and after we had paid, the waiter came up to us and said that the establishment would give all of us a shot of alcohol for free because we were great guests (which really? we were loud and discussed cojones and weed *lol*) but all of us needed to be over eighteen. At which point he very obviously looked at me. Goody, I even had my makeup on and it didn't help! After we all assured him we were 21 and 22 respectively we got the shots and one of my best friends crowed: "He asked that because of you!" Heh, really? I wouldn't have noticed. *rolls eyes* So I explained that I'm used to it, because I get carded all the time and at least he didn't give me any crayons to pain with and that when I try to go out to clubs the bouncers usually glare at me when I come up to them in a Do-you-really-think-we-will-let-you-in?!-way, but when I show ID they have to step aside. To which my friends boyfriend said: "And behind him is a sign that says: 'You have to be this tall (hand a foot above the ground) to be let in. We don't want gnomes!' So they still don't let you in." *long suffering sigh* I still have to figure out how to pay him back for that! Everyone else found it hilarious. But this wasn't the end of that discussion. One of my friends happily stated that she now knows what to buy me for christmas. It's going to be a T-Shirt that says: "I'm over eighteen. Really. REALLY!!!! Seriously, I'm not kidding. Do you wanna see ID? NO, it's NOT a fake!!! I'm over eighteen!"
I threatend that I wouldn't come back from England if they really did that, so she just assured me that they'd do the shirt in English instead of in German. Don't my friends rock in their hilarity?
On Tuesday I went to see Evan Almighty, and I think it's even better than Because I said so. I just found EA to be way more hilarious in the jokes that did work. It was a bit cheesy and the ending wasn't the best but the clip that they showed while the credits rolled was worth it. *giggles* Awesome. Heh. I need to get that on DVD. "Sheeeeeeeep!" Heeeeeee.
