Aug. 11th, 2008 08:41 pmI went for coffee with a fellow intern today and we talked about movies and Mamma Mia and I said, that I want to see it because of Amanda, phrasing it "an Actress of one of my favourite shows". And the girl wanted to know which show, and when I told her Veronica Mars, she knew the show! YAY. She thought Amanda was KB so I told her no, the main blond girl is now in Heroes and she finished simoultanesly with me "FSM". YAY. Someone who knows VM, KB and even knows it's KB in Heroes and FSM! We then talked about how stupidly photoshopped the FSM poster is, because KB looks uglier than she is and you can barely tell it's her. My fangirl heart was squeeing. Plus she hadn't even seen FSM and still knew it was KB. :D
Yesterday, after I walked my feet off sightseeing, we went to the theater and saw the Dark Knight. It was great for a Batman movie. Heath was awesome in it. But in parts it was a bit shallow. And it could have been better if the other actors had tried a bit more IMO. Plus I was ridiculously scared most of the time the Joker was on. I was ducking and had goosebumps. I don't remember that happening ever before. Today I'm staying home after I worked an hour later than I should have, because nobody wanted to go for drinks and I didn't want to go sightseeing again, since it's cold and the only thing I still want to see are the Speaker's Corner and the Ripper museum thingy.

Date: 2008-08-12 08:43 am (UTC)Well, I had to read over the part concerning DARK KNIGHT because I haven't seen it so far. In Austria, it will premiere on the 20th of August, and THEN... Finally! Can't wait for this film! I absolutely loved BATMAN BEGINS and I'm so looking forward to THE DARK KNIGHT! *squee* I'm sure that I'm gonna love it!

Date: 2008-08-12 05:43 pm (UTC)It's defiantley my fave batman movie.
I have to agree about the other actors though, apart from Aaron Eckhart, I thought he did a really great job.

Date: 2008-08-12 08:37 pm (UTC)Who is Aaron Eckhart? I found the only other two actors who did a really good job were Morgan Freeman and the Butler guy. Rachel was ok, especially in her last scene, and the police force guy who always called Batman was good too. But they weren't really main cast. The main cast was disappointing apart from Heath.
